Policies
Please note, that if you wish to cancel or change your appointment you need to provide us with a 24 hours’ notice. Failing to do so, you will be charged for a missed appointment. New bookings may not be possible unless outstanding fees are paid. In exceptional circumstances, the Practitioner and Practice Principal may wave part of the fee upon production of compelling evidence.
If you arrive very late, we may not able to see you. If available, an alternative appointment on the day may be offered. If you cannon be seen on the same day an alternative date may be offered but we reserve the right to charge part or the whole fee, and this is on the discretion of your practitioner and the management.
All personal and clinical information will be treated confidentially. We will not communicate any personal or clinical details to a third party – including your GP – unless we receive your authorisation.
All practitioners are governed by the rules and regulations of their professional bodies.
If this is your first treatment at our practice, a 50% deposit will be taken at the time of booking. If this is a follow-up treatment you have the option to pay at the time of booking or when you arrive at the practice.
If we are claiming on your behalf from a private medical insurance or a third party, you must provide us with your insurance details including Membership No. and Authorisation Code before your treatment, in order to verify these in advance. If your insurance policy has an excess amount, then you must pay part or the whole treatment in advance than falls under the excess balance. If we cannot submit the claim on the day of your treatment, we will ask you to pay for your treatment on the day and provide you with a formal receipt in order to claim this back from your insurance.
