Like our knees and legs, ankles and feet take a lot of use and abuse for very little recognition. If there were honours to be bestowed I would nominate the feet first. From the moment we are born we imprison them in – usually unsuitable footwear – and we expect them to trek us for millions of miles with very little TLC. Have you ever given your poor feet an “hot/cold contrast footbath” after a long day. If they could speak they would say “thank you”! A whole industry and several professions have sprung up as the result of the frequency and multitude of feet and ankle problems. These range from simple sprains, to ligament tears, deformed arches, deviating toes, painful bunions and many others. But ignoring your feet you will have a much higher price pay. Over time your knees, pelvis, spine and even your neck will suffer if you allow the problem to propagate. If you love your mobility then come and speak to us.
